MORGAN BUKATA
I’m a Los Angeles-based stylist with East Coast roots and a generational connection to the arts. Influenced by my mom’s eye for textiles & interiors, my sister’s design instinct, and the iconic style of the matriarchs in my family, I grew up seeing fashion as a reflection of identity and memory. From an early age, I expressed my personal style through hand-me-downs—infusing them with meaning and making them feel uniquely mine.
The idea for For Decades was dreamt up in 2009 during a creative exchange with my sister. What started as a shared love of unique finds evolved into a reimagined vision for circular fashion—personal, expressive, and entirely your own.
Professionally, I’ve worked in retail, corporate fashion, and home décor, always drawn to pieces with soul. After following the call to the West Coast in 2018, I expanded into freelance styling alongside top celebrity stylists and designers. While I remain connected to that world, my focus has returned to what started it all: For Decades. What began as a side passion for sourcing bold, one-of-a-kind pieces—and eventually blending high and low—has become the heart of my work.
At For Decades, every item is handpicked with care and intention. I trust my gut, choosing pieces not just for how they look today, but for the stories they’ll carry tomorrow. From lived-in vintage gems to responsibly sourced designer pieces, we embrace secondhand, vintage, and ethical fashion—curating collections that balance quality, conscience, and character.
For Decades is more than just a resale boutique. It’s a platform for sustainable style and accessible luxury resale, rooted in the belief that fashion should reflect individuality. Through expert styling and intentional sourcing, we create synergy between past and present—honoring the power of upcycling while redefining what it means for fashion to be timeless, authentic, and lasting.
